PyeongChang Olympics 2018
John Miller, a former CMO Entertainment and Sports, gave our creative team a task to create a key-art for PyeongChang Olympics 2018.
The Olympics is a mega project, which requires numerous assets for various platforms; it needs a flexible design system that can be carried out across all digital and prints. The key-art should include a prominent logo, tell stories of star athletes of Team USA and deliver a clear message. Also, because the Olympics is a global sports event bringing everyone together with excitement and celebration, it is important to capture the Olympics spirit and emotions into the design.
My design well reflected what the Olympics is all about displaying young energy and bringing in action dynamics. I incorporated pop colors, bold type, geometric shapes, and action photos, which altogether brought unity and harmony for the festive global sports event.
